About Me

Hi, Im Meghan- The artist behind Wild Iris Paintings. My goal in life is to capture the joy of living- both in the big, milestone moments and in the small, everyday ones you wish could last a little longer. Through my work, I aim to capture more than just an image. I focus on the feeling of a moment, the story behind it, and the simple beauty that makes it worth remembering. Each painting is a way to preserve those moments in a lasting, visual form.

Painting has always been my first love. I studied graphic design in college, but after beginning my career, I realized that I still needed a paintbrush in my hand to truly feel fulfilled. I started taking the small, intentional steps that led me to where I am today.

My first push into the art world came through entering local plein air painting competitions. Those experiences gave me the confidence to paint in front of an audience and share my work more openly. In 2023, I painted my first wedding and immediately fell in love with capturing such meaningful moments through live art.

In 2025, I began painting murals and discovered how transformative they can be, turning an ordinary bedroom into a story-filled space. Working closely with clients to bring their visions to life through paint is what inspires me most.
